1. Playground & Provisioning Tools

Do you want to challenge yourself and play with HCM configuration on a safe environment? Working, for example, with a proof of concept, prototypes or any custom configuration you would like to test before delivering to Production?

With Talentia HCM 12.8, customers have a new option: the Playground.

The Playground is an HCM instance that mimics your Production environment with up-to-date data (no older than one month), but completely independent and safe, available to a maximum of 10 selected users in your organisation.

Using Provisioning Tools, an exclusive, new technology available only in Playground, users can record any custom configuration they make on this environment that they might like to move to Production. Once finished and tested, they can easily install into Production with a few clicks. It’s another click to uninstall the custom configuration from production, if no longer required.

2. Process Administration

HR users now have new options to better control Processes, especially to manage maintenance windows for Process configurations while the system is running. Through the Workflow Administration dashboard, granted HR users can now use the following new features:

Disabling Selected Processes

By disabling a Process, HR can prevent someone from launching this process from now
on.

Setting a Process to Maintenance Mode

By setting a Process to Maintenance Mode (the process should be Disabled first), an HR can prevent users accessing any assigned task related to this process, until the process is reactivated.

3. Outlook Integration for Classroom Enrolments

As part of the Training module, customers can now benefit from a new MS Outlook integration for classroom Sessions. Thanks to this integration, people enrolled in a classroom course will automatically receive an invitation in Outlook, as a reminder of their scheduled session. Any change or cancellation made to the session, or a selected learner, will be synchronised with Outlook.

4. Managers can Enrol Teammates to Course Sessions

With version 12.8, Managers are more empowered to autonomously enrol people from their team onto a Course Session, without passing through the HR department. Quick filters and counters help facilitate the monitoring of the enrolment status of their team, by type of course.

5. My Interviews Widget

The new My Interviews widget which is available to Managers, gives users a shortcut to quickly view the list of Appraisal Reviews for which the user is a reviewer, regardless of whether the reviewees are part of their team or not. Appraisal Reviews will be available in read only mode, regardless of the stage they are at.

Recruitment

When publishing a Job Vacancy, it’s now possible to synchronise the Relationship Period Length field with Arca24.

Performance

A discrete Score Component from an Appraisal Review can be overridden or adjusted using a dropdown as an alternative to the star format.

Furthermore, there’s a new feature available in the Appraisal Cycle form that validates the consistency of data being used or referenced by the Appraisal Form. For example, this feature checks that the Rating Scales are properly configured before changing the Appraisal Cycle Status to “Evaluating”.

A new policy can be set on Objectives sections to ensure that Items’ weights add up to 100%, but still keeping manual input.

Absence

In the Employee Portal, there’s a new widget available in the main Navigator of the Absence landing page, called My Team Absences. With this widget, employees can see (anonymised) absences for people who report directly to their manager, thus including Managers beyond peers.

Also, a new setting is available on the Absence Plan in order to forbid retroactive changes of Absence  Events.

Core HR

The People search has been enhanced, introducing a Quick Filter to facilitate easy viewing of People with an active Work Relationship, People with previous Work Relationship(s), People with a Work Relationship valid in the future or People with no Work Relationship at all.

Training

When opening the Courses search, the results are now automatically returned without the need to click  Search.

Advanced Reporting

The Child Resources used in Advanced Reporting can now be filtered by the Parent Resource using up to  three different fields.

eSignatures and Digital Signatures

It’s now possible to modify a document to be e-signed (slightly changing the layout, adding or removing  sections, for example) before sending it to the signer.

Actors of a Workflow which, at some stage, generates a document to be signed, can download the  generated document, modify it and replace the original version. The generated document is constrained to be in MS Word format. Talentia HCM will transform the modified Word document into PDF before sending for signature.

Users and System Access

The Users search includes now the “Last Accessed Date Time (UTC)” field.
